After nearly a decade of serving schools and educators across South Africa, I’m incredibly proud to share the next chapter in our journey – Get SACE has officially become Empower-Ed.
When we started Get SACE Points, our mission was simple: to help teachers understand what SACE compliance really means, manage their CPTD points with confidence, and feel supported in navigating the sometimes complicated requirements of the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
Over the years, that mission has grown into something much bigger.
Our Journey as Get SACE Points
Since 2016, Get SACE Points has guided thousands of teachers and schools with:
- SACE registration and certificate assistance
- CPTD point management and school portfolio tracking
- Police, sexual offenders, and child protection clearance checks
- Professional development planning and training
We became known as the team that clarified compliance – simplifying SACE processes and taking the stress out of managing points and submissions. Many teachers even said, “I wouldn’t have managed my SACE without Get SACE Points!”
But as we’ve grown, we’ve realised that what we do goes far beyond compliance.
Why the Change to Empower-Ed
The decision to rebrand from Get SACE Points to Empower-Ed reflects the heart of what we now do every day.
Our work still includes everything related to SACE – registrations, CPTD management, and points but it also encompasses so much more: professional development, leadership training, school partnerships, and guidance for educators at every stage of their career.
We don’t just help teachers get SACE points – we empower them to grow professionally, to develop with purpose, and to understand their role in shaping the future of education in South Africa.
